Covid-19 Update
19th March 2020
The Prime Minister announced this week that he strongly suggests the public do not go to restaurants and pubs. This is a significant move in the fight against Coronavirus (COVID-19).
We feel it is our responsibility to follow the guidance of the government so we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close the Stables with regards to our food and beverage outlet this evening at 5pm (Thursday 19th March).
The pro shop along with toilets (changing rooms will be closed due to social distancing) will remain open so please continue to report to the pro shop on arrival at the golf club.
The golf course will remain open until further notice and the green staff are operating in two teams for social distancing. Please continue to follow the guidelines we issued yesterday on the golf course etiquette to keep safe.
The most important thing to us is the safety and wellbeing of our staff and members. This is a precautionary measure, there has been no reported cases of COVID-19 symptoms reported to us by staff or members, but we have made this decision because we can no longer ensure the safety for staff and members.
Lastly, I would like to inform you that there will be a limited food and beverage offer available operating from the 1st tee / half way house. We will also continue to offer a takeaway service from limited options on our current Stables menu.
We will regularly review this situation and keep you informed of future developments through our daily email and websites.
Thank you so much for your support and we hope to see you soon.
Kind regards
Kevin Gooch
Director of Hospitality
